Born in New York NY and raised across the river in NJ, it was the ballet studios, Martha Graham School of Contemporary Dance, and the piano bars of New York City that provided the initial backdrop and inspiration to studies spanning a broad spectrum of styles from opera and the jazz standards to Broadway-style singing, folk/Celtic music and back to jazz, in both New York City and Los Angeles.
She recorded “My Secret Garden”, her first CD, with Grammy-winning engineer/producer Ben Wisch, in 2003, the songs
inspired by travels to Cape Breton Island Nova Scotia and Ireland.
Currently studying jazz piano in NY and songwriting with Berklee Music, Jennifer works regularly as a vocalist in the NJ and greater NYC area performing jazz standards/Great American Songbook repertoire for local audiences and is currently working on alot of original repertoire. Press Bio PDF file
